Adelaide Clemens

Born and brought up from Brisbane Australia. She is the daughter of a British father. Clemens first started her acting career on Australian television during high school. In 2006, she starred in the role of Juliet in an episode of Blue Water High and in 2007, she starred as Alison in Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji. Clemens was the lead character of Harper as Harper in Love My Way, a Showtime drama the same year. The role was so well-known that she was nominated for the Graham Kennedy Award at the Logie Awards 2008 for Most Outstanding New Talent. Clemens was in the 2008 MTV Networks Australia dramatic film Dream Life alongside Sigrid Thornton Xavier Samuel Linda Cropper and Andrew McFarlane.She had small roles in the television show All Saints and the film X-Men Origins: Wolverine in the year 2009. Clemens was the model for Jan Logan's jewelery that year.Clemens made the move to Los Angeles California in 2009. Clemens played the role as Xandrie (Wasted on the Young) in the movie Wasted on the Young. Clemens co-starred with Gregg Sulkin in Camilla Dickinson, alongside Cary Elwes, Samantha Mathis and Cary Elwes. The film was a re-imagining of the 1951 novel of the same title by young adult novelist Madeleine L'Engle.She was the teenager Heather Mason in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. This film about horror is based on Silent Hill 3, a survival horror videogame. It also was an expansion of Silent Hill. Clemens played the lead as young Valentine Wannop, a suffragette in Parade's End. Clemens performed the role of lead in the film No One Lives, a 2012 horror movie starring Luke Evans. She also made an appearance as a character in The Great Gatsby, based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel of the same name. The role she played was Catherine as the daughter of Myrtle Wilson (Isla Fisher). Clemens stars in Rectify 2013, a television miniseries directed by Ray McKinnon. She plays Tawney Telbot. Natalie Dormer Stephen Graham Zachary Quinto and Clemens will star on The Girl Who Invented Kissing A film by an independent filmmaker.
