Jones in her role as Stephen Hawking's wife in this biopic based on the life of Stephen Hawking, was highly praised both by viewers and critics. Inferno is an action film starring Tom Hanks. In the year 2016 the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles named Jones to be the British Artist of The Year because of her talents and contribution to the cinema.
